Am I correct in saying that if you buy a freelancer license you can only have 1 user or member account?

To clarify, by members I mean members within our company that have the ability to login to the control panel and edit/delete/post new information to the website.

There’s probably no hard limit, but license wise the freelance is for teams of 3 employees or less, according to this page: http://expressionengine.com/overview/pricing

    Hi 717studios,

The Freelancer license is intended to help you make your Studio’s presence on the web. The license limits you to 3 users or less, and doesn’t support MSM, Discussion Forum, or front end user registration.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks!

Great, that will work for now. So lets say a year from now I need to add a 4th user, can we upgrade to the commercial license and pay the difference…($200 or so)?

    717studios,

Yes absolutely you can do that. All you’d need to do after upgrading your license is download and update EE to include the additional modules.
