Missing jquery ui styles

This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I seem to have lost all the jquery ui styles in the CP after an upgrade to 2.3.1 (http://cl.ly/DAAa) - this is despite having done a straight replace of the base EE install themes folder.

Look at my view source, I can’t see any reference to the jquery-ui css file (jquery-ui-1.8.16.custom.css) - how can this be?

    Hi Daniel H,

Could you replace your themes folder one more time - don’t overwrite the current files, delete them and then upload the new themes folder. Be sure to keep a copy of your third_party themes folder before deleting it.

It makes no difference! So bizarre… any ideas? I mean, where and how are the jquery ui styles loaded? What can interfere with it?

    Hi Daniel,

I’m sorry to see you’ve had to wait so long for an answer on this one. Could you check to see if you have any accessories loaded that are meant to improve the appearance or functionality of the CP? If so, could you disable them?

View the vanilla HTML source of the main page of your CP for me. (Though the View Source function of the browser, not using a DOM viewer like Firebug.) Right below the title element, you should see a link to the JS file. Is that what you see? If not, could you copy the first few lines of the output and past them back here for inspection?

Not to worry - I went for the total reinstall option… 😕

    Thanks though.

    Daniel,

It sounds like the total reinstall worked for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with?

    Daniel,

Awesome. I’m going to close out this thread, but feel free to post again when you have more questions.
