I finally upgraded my site to EE2. I did quite a bit of prep work for it and it paid off. It went super smooth this morning and I doubt anyone can even tell 😊
The main items that kept me from upgrading sooner were:
- A replacement for the Weever addon -> I used Threaded Comments by Yuri at IntoEEtive
- A way to get the Videoplug addon working in EE2 -> Yuri was kind enough to update this for me (PM me and I’d be happy to share)
- Database was too large - Needed an alternative upgrade option which became available at the end of October
