Better Snippet Editor - with revisions saved

    Snippets and Global Variables in ExpressionEngine are great - but bad thing about them is that built-in editor does not support revisions/versioning. So if you occationally save snippet or variable with wrong contents - there is no way to revert.

    Now with Snippet Editor module it’s over! Don’t worry about your data anymore - simply enable template revisions in EE Template Preferences, and revision for snippets and global variables are saved each time you edit!

    As an extra feature, you can colorize the Snippet Editor using built-in syntax code highlighter.

    The cost of the addon is just $7 and you can get it from my site (and on devot:ee soon as well)

    would be better all round if global vars and snippets could be saved as files as standard

    Yeah I know - my point was that it shouldn’t take an addon to do that.

    You and Bjørn should meet in the middle and combine both add-on into one. And I agree with Steven that it would be great if this was just standard in core.
