    Hi,

I’ve been running into this issue a couple of times lately, and generally it seems to happen when images have strange dimensions, for example being really wide, but very short. You can see what I’m talking about here, as at first I thought it was an issue with Matrix:

I was wondering if this is a known bug that is being worked on as I can’t find anything on the Bug Tracker (mainly because any search I do gets ‘invalid action’)? If so it would be good to get a status update on this as it’s proving very frustrating for a couple of my clients when they go to edit content.

    Cheers

    Hi Ben Lilley,

I’ve run into the “invalid action” error myself. The developers are aware of it, and in the meantime it can be alleviated by refreshing the page. That effectively resets the XID hash the page uses when performing the search. Not exactly awesome, but it does do the trick 😉

Now, as to your issue, I think it is very likely related to this bug report. While that bug references cropping, it is triggered by similar circumstances. That being “oddly” shaped images. I invite you to comment on that report in order to be notified of progresses or fixes as they may come about.

Is there anything else I can do to help you?

    Hi Ben,

The developers are constantly working to squash the bugs, so there is hope! Thanks for bringing this aspect of the bug to our attention.

If you need any other assistance, please let us know in a new thread.

    Thanks!
