I need to show a linking list of months 12 months into the future, starting with the current month. Something like:

    <a href="http://{path=events/2011/11}">November</a>
    <a href="http://{path=events/2011/12}">December</a>
    <a href="http://{path=events/2012/01}">January</a>

What is my best option for making this work?

    Hi astuteo,

You should be able to accomplish this using the Archive Month tags. Be sure to set the show_future_entries parameter to “yes”.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers!

Can Archive Months show_empty in any way?

My situation required that, plus a bit of magic related to current_time so I ended up using DT Plugin to pass some relative time information through to a Low Yearly Archive calendar.

    It worked. Thanks, Dan!

    Hi astuteo,

No, I’m afraid that EE’s native Archive Month tags don’t offer that functionality. You can submit a Feature Request for that!

I’m glad you were able to put together a solution that suits your needs. Is there anything else I can do to help you?

    Cheers!
