Hey, I uninstalled the EE-forum earlier becuse I had so much spam. However, now I have re installed it and it says in the “visitor statistics” that I have 682 topics, 1300 total and most ever users online 82 etc. That statistics must be from before I uninstalled it. I have tried to do a “recount statistics”, and cleared the cache but doesn’t help.

Where does it get these numbers from? I must be able to manually remove them somehow?

    Perhaps a seperate question, but..
It also says the forum has 11 members when it in fact only has 6 members. The other 5 is some old spam-robots (of about 3000 that I have removed). In the controlpanel for all Expression Engine members it also says there is 11 members, but only 6 is showing. I went into the mysql database with PHPmyAdmin and in “exp_member_data” I found and deleted those 5 members that didn’t show in the members panel. However, it still says there is 11 members in the control panel and also in the visitor statistics on the forum even tho I removed them directly from the database. So that data must be taken from some more place as well?

    Update:

I solved the members count problem in the controlpanel by deleting the member ID’s from: exp_members & exp_member_homepage

The statistics in the forums “visitor statistics” is still a problem.

    Thanks,
    Johan

    Hi swedenfishing,

When you uninstalled the forums earlier, did you remove the module files without uninstalling via the CP? That may be part of the issue here. If you were to uninstall the forum module via the add-ons > modules page and then reinstall it, this would likely fix most of your issues. The CAVEAT here is that any forums/boards and other customizations you’ve made would be lost.

Please let me know if that helps.

No, I removed it from the CP. Don’t know how else to do do it. add-ons > Modules

I have fixed it. I could change the values I needed to reset in MySQL datbase manually by going to table “exp_stats” and change those to 0. There is probably an easier way around this, but was the only way I could solve it.

You can close this topic if you want.

    Best regards,
