Hi,
I have a question about the users and user rights. I have created a user group that is capable of creating a template group. But when this user does create a template group the user gets a error message and the group doesn’t show up at the availible templates for this user.
How can i change this? Or what is going wrong?

What is the error message?
What version and build of EE are you using?
What is the exact settings you gave this group?
- Can administrate template groups and templates yes
- Can access DESIGN section yes
- Can access the control panel? yes

The error message i’ll get is:
Severity: Notice
Message: Undefined index: 14
Filename: design/manager.php

What version and build of EE are you using?
I am using:
2.2.2 - Build: date 20110801
What is the exact settings you gave this group?
- Can administrate template groups and templates yes
- Can access DESIGN section yes
- Can access the control panel? yes

can you go ahead and update to latest version 2.3.1 and see if the issue persists please?

Hi John,
I have updated to the latest version. I now don’t get any error message so thats good but when the user creates a template group it doesn’t show up for this user. It does in the admin but not for the user that created the template group

Experiencing the same thing. As Super Admin, I have to go in to ‘Template Editing Privileges’ and give them permission to edit the template group they created. Not ideal.

I have replicated this error and it appears to be a bug. I have filed a bug report on your behalf. I would recommend posting a comment on that bug report to keep updated on its progress.
