    Hi,
    We have author pages, listing all articles by the authors id (example.com/author/3432), it all seems fine except what we find is that pagination does not work, it seems to to add extra /pXX for every time I click on the link (/author/2636/P15/P15)
    Example here: http://goo.gl/iOznl

    {exp:channel:entries channel="example-channel" sort="desc" orderby="date" author_id="{segment_2}" limit="15" disable="member_data|category_fields" pagination="bottom" dynamic="off"}
    {title}
    {paginate}{pagination_links}{/paginate}

    {/exp:channel:entries}

    Any suggestion what to do?

    Hi Robert,

    I think I’ve found the problem. It looks like you’ll need to remove dynamic=“no” from your Channel Entries tag in order to get pagination to work in this case. That’s now how it’s supposed to work, according to the User Guide and my own past experience, so I filed a bug about it on your behalf.

    Does removing dynamic=“no” from the Channel Entries tag give you a short-term workaround until that bug is fixed?

    Hi Kevin,

    I tried that (removing the dynamic) and nothing will be displayed.

    Instead of the pagination= parameter, which doesn’t exist, try the paginate= parameter in tandem with your dynamic= paramter:

    paginate="both" dynamic="no"

    You’ll see the note on dynamic= needing the paginate= to paginate when set to no.

    Let us know if that helps?

    Yep, that’s my fault, Robert. I apologize for missing that. It seems the issue wasn’t related to the dynamic tag at all. Make sure you use paginate instead of pagination, and you should be all set!

    Lisa and Kevin,
    That works, thank you!
