Hello group

We are starting to scope out an intranet for our school, and I was looking for a few templates that I could use as examples. I’ve googled, and theme-forested and yet to find something that stood out as a good example.

I plan on using EE for this (seems perfect for the job, actually) and I’m excited to build this out. However for now, I’m having trouble finding a good intranet template to use as an example. I’m thinking of a “portal-type” design or something along those lines.

That might be hard to find examples as intranets and extranets are going to be behind a login. The Nielsen Norman Group publishes annual reviews of intranets, as well as other guidelines and information concerning intranet usability and design:

As far as ExpressionEngine templates for intranets, I don’t know of any. I was working on an extranet prototype and found Mike Boyink’s member screencast helpful:
