Has there been any thought to making the job board postings free?

I see how many jobs get posted there. This is not a significant source of income, so the only purpose I can se for the $20 job credit is to keep out the riffraff, to set a barrier to posting to discourage the scammers.

Most jobs posted means more of the “pros” will visit the forums more. It’s also of value and interest to us non-pros. I like to see what people are willing to pay to have EE do.

Just curious, but I think this would have more benefit than drawback.

as someone that uses those job postings for contracts, and has used it for years, I absolutely do not want them to make that free. If someone is interested in work and can’t afford 20 bucks to post the listing, I don’t want to have a conversation about a job. And frankly if someone is just too cheap I’m in the same position.

it’s an excellent qualifier so that we know the people are posting legit jobs.

I certainly don’t speak for the rest of the forum, or the other members of the pro network, that’s just how i feel.
