Hello!

I recently upgraded a client to 2.3.1 from 1.7x.  Everything seems to be fine, except the pagination in her Simple Commerce area.

It says “Showing 1 to 50 of 2 entries” in the “Purchases” area and the pages won’t advance. They have far more than 2 entries. They have far more than 50, even. 

I’ve attached an image to show the issue. Any idea if this is a bug or if this seems unique to my client? I couldn’t find any information on it and she’s very concerned about not being able to access that information.

I don’t have a good testbed to see what the issue would be, so please check your email in a few minutes.

Hi, Joelle. It appears that after discussing it with Robin, this very well may be a bug in the pagination code for the Simple Commerce Module.

Please let your client know that that actual sales aren’t affected by this, it’s a display issue only. She can either download a .txt file of her sales or can manually view them in the database view of the control panel.

Thanks, Sue. I’ll let her know. I assume that will go into the bug fixes and hopefully be fixed in the next release?  I just want to be able to tell her something.

Also, I have to admit, I don’t know what the “database view of the control panel” is. LOL!

Ah, nevermind. I guess you mean in Tools > Data > SQL Manager?  I don’t use this area much and worry about sending my client in there, but it’s good to know. 😊

Yeah, I was going from memory here. 😊 Sorry to not have put in the full path to it. Here’s a link to the bug report.

I can’t guarantee when a fix will become available, but hopefully it will be soon. In the meantime since we have a filed bug report, closing the thread. You can comment on the bug report to be notified when the status changes. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
