    Good morning dear ee-community

We have in few days an kick-off for a realy hight-traffic product website. The customer wont split up the Website and the Shop in two difference systems.

I’m very happy about EE, im use it for my private website, now thats the first customer project so i must check out first for possible problems.

I found several e-commerce Modules for EE, I’m very happy about that.

    Now very important questions:
    - Which E-Commerce Module would YOU recomment for the best scalability? (near to a real shop-system possibilities)
    - Wich restrictions i have by using your recommented Module compared with a real shopping-system?
    - Would i have any restriction by using the module in GERMANY?

Thank you very much for your help 😊

These addons are ‘real shops’, so to speak. Not sure what you think they are if not real. 😊 Probably the most scalable is CartThrob, but it really depends on what features you need.

Again, these are real cart systems—just built specially for EE. 😊

Would i have any restriction by using the module in GERMANY?

What restrictions are you thinking of?

Hi aight8, you might want to check out Expresso Store (exp-resso.com/store) - its completely integrated with EE (meaning products are channel entries and the control panel uses standard EE styles), powerful, much easier to set up than the alternatives, and a user-friendly order management system for clients. You can check out a screencast here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jIPI56eHuc. Shameless self promotion I know 😊 but I honestly think you’ll love it.

    Cheers,
    Dave
