    Hi there!

I’m using EE 2.10 on a website I finally got finished. All through testing, I assumed I was hitting a problem with entry dates because localization settings weren’t correct, but now I can’t seem to get it resolved.

Whenever I create a new entry in a channel, if I don’t assign an entry date, it defaults to the current time. However, as soon as I edit that entry, the entry date gets pushed up 7 hours into the future, so that it doesn’t display at all on the website (as it shouldn’t) when I go to review it. In fact, in my testing, I can just click to Edit the Entry, and hit submit, making no changes - and it will push it 7 hours further into the future each time.

    Help!

    Thanks, David

    Hi, David.

Is it possible to upgrade to EE 2.2.2? I recall there being issues with that particular version that aren’t present in newer ones.

If you don’t want to upgrade for some reason, you can always just add show_future_entries = “yes” to your exp:channel:entries tag.

    Does that help?

    Hi Sue -

I’ll give the upgrade a try! It shouldn’t take too long. Can you point me towards the most recent upgrade directions?

    Thanks, David

    Perfect! Thank you.

I’ll try the update a few days from now and let you know if it resolves my problem. Have a good weekend.

Sounds good, just post again when you’ve had a chance to upgrade. We’ll be here.
