I’m performing a new installation of EE and the installation wizard is insisting that it’s an upgrade.

I get this message:
“We have detected that you are currently running ExpressionEngine version Public Beta pb01”

I proceed, it asks me if I backed up my database, and then gives me this:

A Database Error Occurred

Error Number: 1146

Table ‘muncieart2_site.exp_modules’ doesn’t exist

SELECT COUNT(*) AS `numrows` FROM (`exp_modules`) WHERE `module_name` = ‘Trackback’

Filename: controllers/wizard.php

Line Number: 630

This is a brand new website.

Please help.

Hi ty,

When you say this is a brand new install have you downloaded a fresh set of files from your downloads section or are you using files that you had already saved to your computer?

If they are files you already had saved then could you try downloading a fresh set of files from the link I showed above and try those instead.
