    Hi all,

I’m trying to figure out how the following might be possible- my client would like to be able to email out new post/entry notifications via email to a subscriber list.

The difficulty here is that these emails need to be sent in real-time as they are time sensitive offers. I’ve already looked at a Mailchimp solution (RSS-to-email) but the send frequency can only be as often as every 24 hours. Therefore, I think these emails will have to be sent directly via Expression Engine.

Entries are currently created via an EE2 Safecracker form, access to post is only provided to the client.

To start with the recipient list would be around 50 opted in members - they would each receive a maximum of around 20 new entry notifications per day, all receiving the same emails.

Can anyone see how I might be able to tie the entry creation via safecracker to sending an email to a list of addresses? Should I use EE’s Mailinglist Module to manage the subscribers? If so, can I access the Communicate Module via the front-end/Safecracker?

Or is there something obvious I’m missing here?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Best wishes,

    Steve
