Remind me please folks - outside of Barack Obama, Governor Schwarzenegger and A List Apart, what are some of the other “biggun” sites in EE? I have a client asking me - a comfort thing when contrasting against WordPress.

Thanks Mike.  I got a few from the twittersphere as well, including Ford, Canon, Campaign Monitor, Top Gear.  That ought to be more than enough for my prospective client to move past the “relative unknown” factor - from their perspective anyway.

    John,

If you need some help don’t hesitate to email. If there is an industry you need examples from just let me know.

Thanks Marcus.  I suppose it couldn’t hurt.  The industry for this particular client is financial services, but in a one-on-one or at its broadest one to few bespoke financial analysis and risk management.  The front-facing portion of their EE site would be pretty straight forward, while their client area as they envision it would be a secure area through which a client could log in and download their personal analysis/report.  Which of course brings with it the requirement that the files themselves be secured and assigned at a user level.  And they want to track the downloads of the files.  So if you have a couple of financial services examples that fit that small one-to-one consulting space, that would be ideal.  It’s a new one on me, though i have done the one to one security thing for a client in the pharmaceutical space already, so it’s not much of a leap.

If you could email me I can talk a bit. But publicly I’m limited. 😊
