    Hi

I own a website called http://www.happyjane.ie as of yesterday I cant view it or access my Expression Engine CMS.

When I try to view my website I get an Error Page HTTP 500 and when I try to access my Expression Engine CMS I also get an Error Page this time saying HTTP 403.

I contacted my Hosting Company (Blacknight)Ireland and I got an email this morning saying

I have checked your webspace and it appers to throw quiet a few error messages in error logs, I would advise your designer to check error logs for your webspace, this can be found under cp.blacknight.com under:

Webspace >> log manager >> show ftp directory >> error logs.

The latest error message is coming up regarding .htaccess files permissions.

I am not on speaking terms with the guy who built my website as it took him 8 months to build it and he failed to put in a decent shopping cart like (Cartthrob) only a paypal shopping cart.

Have any of you guys got any idea what I can do???

I don’t have a clue about webdevelopement so you will need to really dumb down your replies please.

    Jason,

You will need to have your hosting provider look into what is amiss with your system folder. Once they have those sorted out, let us know if you need further assistance.

    Cheers,
