I have a page that orders by view count, this page has been working correctly up to today.

Currently the top entry is a post that was posted today, and has 72 views, the next post has over 8000 views and they steadily decrease after that.

I have no idea why that post has jumped to the top?

Today I did optimise the database tables, could that have caused something to go wrong.  I have since repaired and optimised the tables again to see if that helped.
