I have my website hosted on godaddy for a year. Everything worked fine but the updated 02/09/2011 version of apache to apache 2.2 for “security” leave my site with a malfunction.

The problem is when running a php script to upload pictures, the upload limit is 2MB but since Update apache generates a 500 error when uploading images larger than 100KB ...

I’ve tried everything, I can not fix the problem and godaddy will not help.

Anyone have a problem like this or knows the solution? Please help!

More than 15 days to support this open ticket [Incident ID: 12745965], GoDaddy does not give me answers or solutions techniques.
I only get irrelevant answers such as “rename htaccess x htaccess1 some customers got lucky with that.”

    Godaddy does not help me.

Thanks to technical support in English from godaddy, we could solve the problem! after 20 days..

The error 500 from server to upload images was solved by disabling “FastCGI” php and php4 from the hosting administration panel.

    The htaccess, new configuration:

    AddHandler x-httpd-php-cgi. php4
    AddHandler x-httpd-php5-cgi. php

    before

    AddHandler x-httpd-php5. Php
    AddHandler x-httpd-php. Php4

Thanks to technical support (in English) of Godaddy.!

    Greetings from Argentina.

PS: godaddy tech support in Spanish is one of terror, they know nothing. They must all be illegal Mexicans .. jajajaja!
