    I recently moved a EE site from one domain to another, and after the switch came across two problems (1 major and 1 minor); I’m not sure if they’re are related, but maybe you can help.

    When I view the source for my CP, there are no stylesheets being linked to (and no <link> tags). I compared it with the version on the original domain and it appears the following code in the CP header.php view is not printing anything:

    <?=$this->view->head_link('css/jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.css'); ?>
    <?=$this->view->head_link('css/global.css'); ?>

    If I replace the above code with links to the actual css files, everything seems to work, but that seems a little hackish and unnecessary.

    Any ideas what’s going on?

    The 2nd problem, which I’m not sure if it’s related. I’ve got a page that redirects to the admin section of the site (which was moved out of the site’s root directory). The redirect is returning “No input file specified.” I’ve already made the suggested changes to my .htaccess file to get the rest of the site working, but redirects seem to have been left behind.

    EE: v2.2.0
    Build: 20110622

    I would install Deeploy Helper and make sure that all of your paths are right.  I would think the path to your CP theme is still set to your old path.

    Great tool. I fixed the “Theme Folder Path”, but “Default Control Panel Theme” is set to “Not available”. Any idea why this list wouldn’t populate? I’ve verified that themes (default, and corporate) are there.

    Jim,

    Getting all the paths set properly after a move can be a bit troublesome. Utilities like Deploy Helper are great tools to aid in this, but I always recomend a read through Moving ExpressionEngine to Another Server just to double check everything. Give that a going over and let us know where you stand after that.

    Cheers,

    Verified all the paths (and other steps on the moving instructions), but I’m still getting “Default Control Panel Theme” set to “Not available” under ADMIN > GENERAL CONFIGURATION.

    Next steps?

    Hi Jim,

    I’m going to ask internally on this one as I’ve not come across this issue before and looking at the file which I believe is giving you that Not Available message makes me think that perhaps your config settings in the database (serialized array) have somehow gotten messed up as from my limited understanding of PHP that message should only show under select circumstances for select fields and radio buttons yet the theme setting should just be a text field.

    I’ll bring this up right away and hopefully someone will get an answer for you on this as soon as possible.

    Thanks,

    Mark

    I’m a little fuzzy on where you’re seeing ‘Not Available’- in the actual dropdown (instead of ‘Default Template’) or when you chose ‘Default’ and try to submit- you get an error message with that in it?  And is that a direct quote?  Having trouble spotting a related language key.

    I’m not getting an error message, but attached is a screenshot showing where I can’t select a theme.

    Ah- is the theme folder path correct?  What you’re seeing is what happens if get_cp_theme_list() in the admin model can’t find any themes looking in that path.

    Triple check that path is correct and that the theme folders are inside.

    Good news: I got my cp_theme back.

    Bad news: I’m not sure why it’s working.

    I verified that the path was correct. But I copied my themes folder into my root directory (where it’s nativel located), and even though the path doesn’t point to that directory, it started working.

    If that’s something you want to look into, I can give you more information. Otherwise, it’s working for me.

    K- I’ll admit to being massively curious as that should be impossible.  But if it’s working… I’d still make sure all of the paths are set correctly and then I’d call it good.

    Stomps on curiosity and goes to hit that lingering cookie issue…..
