    Hi,
Basically I have 50 different images I need to upload into the file manager so the client can just click the thumbnails and add them to entries etc… So, instead of manually uploading every image, back when I was using 2.2 I could FTP them all into the directory and they would appear in the file manager.

Has this option been disabled? I can’t seem to do it on 2.2.2, the files are all uploaded and in the correct directory (images/uploads/main) however none of them seem to display in the file manager?

Is there something extra I have to do in 2.2.2? I doubt this would have been disabled, if so it is a major step back.

    Thanks.

Never mind, I completely overlooked the new “Synchronise” button!

    Nice work EE.

I’ve not used this functionality before - however at a guess I would try this:

    1) Create an upload destination in File Upload Preferences (in your case images/uploads/main)
    2) Place all your images in the directory you defined in step 1
    3) Go into the File Upload Preferences and ‘synchronise’

Thanks, I got it though. I knew how to do it, just didn’t see the new synchronise button in 2.2.2. Usually before it automatically added them without synchronisation.

    Hi IncMarketing,

Glad to see you have everything working now.

Just wanted to see if it’s okay to close this thread?

    Thanks.
