A client wants to be able to control the availability of files posted on their site. When a file has expired they want to ensure that it will no longer be accessible through a visitor’s bookmarks.
We know files can be renamed or moved through FTP, but we were wondering if there were any plugins or native EE functionality that could accomplish this within the File Manager.

This addon has a feature that allows you to set an expiration date on download links.
