Newbie question: How do I add a link to the top navigational menu? I’ve created a page with content but I can’t seem to locate how to add a link to it.

    Help! Thanks!

You would add it in your template(s) (Design -> Templates -> Template Manager) unless the link is part of your content/entry.

    jkd77,

Did someone set up your site for you? There are different ways to set up navigation. Depending on the method they used it might be really simple or more involved.

I’m experimenting with it myself and it’s my first stab at it. Is there a shortcut code that will output all pages in an unordered list? Or is there a plugin that installs a UI in the admin to help with nav menu creation?

    Thanks again for all suggestions!

I’d also suggest starting with the tutorials over on Train-ee.com as I feel Mike gives a good foundational approach on everything including navigation. The tutorials were written for EE1 but they still apply for EE2.

Do these responses answer your question? Can I close this thread?
