    [This is the sort of question you should post in the official help forum.]

    I’ve had that error a few times. It sometimes happens if I place the /system/ folder above the root. You have to make sure you’ve specified the path to the /system/ folder in the config file, and also the path to the /themes/ folder. (That latter one is what has tripped me up before.)

    $config[‘theme_folder_path’] = “YOUR PATH HERE”;

    The path should be something like:
    /home/username/public_html/themes/

    Does that help?

    Hi Rahul,

    Does ralph’s advice help at all?

    The only first stage advice I would give is to ensure you are performing the install by going to the correct URL as mentioned in Step 4 here - http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/installation/installation.html

    If you don’t get anywhere with this then I can shift your post up to the Technical Support forum for you if you like?

    Thanks.

    Mark
