    Hello Everyone,

    I have recently purchased and installed the MSM add on. However, when I enable it via the control panel and I logout, it prevents me from loggin in again. Every time I enter my username/password, I see the login screen again. The only way to bypass this is to edit the config file and set

    $config['multiple_sites_enabled'] = "n";

    Using EE 2.2.2
    MSM 2.1.0

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best,
    Mario

    Hi mario355,

    Are you using admin.php to login with?
    Have you uncommented and edited the values in admin.php

    $assign_to_config['site_name']  = 'domain2_short_name';
    $assign_to_config['cp_url'] = 'http://domain2.com/admin.php';

    The same with your index.php. Open it up, uncomment the followign and edit

    $assign_to_config['site_name']  = 'domain2_short_name';
    $assign_to_config['cp_url'] = 'http://domain2.com/admin.php';
    $assign_to_config['site_url'] = 'http://domain2.com';

    Have you made any changes to the config.php file?

    Thank you John!
    This solved the problem. Odd that I didn’t find this info in the documentation.

    Also, should I edit the config.php file as well?

    Thanks in advance for you time and help.

    Hi, mario355 -

    No need to edit the config.php file, you should be all set.

    I’ll make a note with my team to beef up that documentation as well.

    Thank you, and have a great weekend!
