I guess I got kind of spoiled with the advanced search in the CP of EE1, but in ExpressionEngine 2 is there a way to add a custom member field, like last name, to the “view all” search list in the Admin CP?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

No built-in way, but we’ve accomplished similar things by modifying the CP theme files. Might be a bit trickier to actually add a searchable column, but usually where theres a will theres a way 😊 You could also pretty easily make a page on the front-end to do this as a last resort

There is not a way to add items to that drop down short of hacks (which are unsupported). I don’t want to close this though as the two of you are having a conversation that may prove fruitful.
