    Hey,

    Does anyone have an effective way of making site offline for search engines so that most search engines do not index anything? I know there is the bot disallow function that you can add to the robots.txt file, but this is a bare minimum and still some search engines index pages anyway. Any other and more effective solutions?

    Thanks.

    As far as I know you can just put the following meta tag in your header:

    <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow " />
