I’ve added a custom field to my member registration form but it is only available when you register on the live site. Is there a way to get the custom field to show up within the admin panel itself or is that not an option?

Hi imageworks,
Where exactly do you wish for the custom field to show up in the control panel?
Can you explain that in more context?
What version and build of EE are you using?

I’m using EE 1.7. I want it to show up under the Admin>Members and Groups>Register a Member page. I’m wondering if there is a way for that custom field to show up there under the standard Username, Password, Confirm Password, Screename, and Email fields. Thanks!

Hi, imageworks -
In EE 2.2.1, the CP page to register a member will show the custom fields; but to do so in EE 1 you’ll need to hack.
This is definitely an area that has since been improved, though.
