I posted about p tag appearing by mistake in a none channel field and I have now moved to production server and I believe I am still getting html tags added for me when entry is set to none. Also I am having to put links in single quote and not double making it very confusing to edit.

    Adam,

For the benefit of this thread here is your other thread.

Do you have any add-ons installed?
Did you import a whole database or just certain tables?

What type of field is giving you the issue?

    Hi Adam,

I took a look at your install, and I don’t see the problem you’re referring to. It looks to me like publish page fields without HTML paragraph tags are rendered on the front-end without those tags as well. You can see the template I’m looking at under your default template group, template “el_test”.

Could you clear things up for me? Tell me exactly how to reproduce the problem you’re having.

    Hi, Adam -

Just checking in to see if you have more information that we can use to troubleshoot this?

    Thank you!

thanks I think it’s probably my template thats been the problem (all along)
Ducking in and out of various projects and trying to find the best way to do things means confusion occasionally.

I have some tags in template that I think ill just strip out

    Hi, Adam -

That certainly looks like a potential issue.  Did removing those paragraph tags help alleviate the problem?

Indeed it did ! opps sorry about that! - seems the single quotes problem has also cleared up - links now working with normal double quotes…
