My client is having trouble editing entries to the website, when they go in to edit an existing channel entry it seems to create a duplicate copy of that post when they hit submit.

it even adds a number to the url title.
(for example it takes Post and makes it Post1)

I’ve advised them to make sure that the Expression Engine dashboard loads completely before editing.. but I’m not sure if that’s the problem.
I’ve never encountered this problem. they are a “super user” just like me.

I remember that I had this problem also with EE 2.x - but I forgot the solution 😊

Which EE-version / build are you running? Perhaps this is a bug of an older version?

I’ll echo lehrerfreund here. Let us know which version EE you’re running. If it’s not the latest, try upgrading your installation.

Is this an issue that’s consistently reproducible? Does it only happen to your client, or have you ever been able to reproduce the issue on your end? What OS and browser is being used when the problem occurs?

Try globally disabling extensions and see if the problem still occurs.
