    I’m missing any CSS styling on the Mobile Control Panel theme.

    EE 2.2.1. Fresh upgrade. Login page looks OK (still needs to fit iPhone screen), but there’s no CSS styling and, basically, nothing works without the CSS.

    Am I missing something?

    UPDATE:

    Looks like the Mobile theme is missing this CSS file:

    http://mysite.com/themes/jquery_ui/default/jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.css

    Can’t find a directory called jquery_ui in themes. jQuery is installed, as is Mobile CP theme.

    Hi Ron,

    Have you downloaded a fresh copy of the mobile theme, part of the Control Panel Themes download? Since it’s a separate download not included with the EE download, it’s easy to miss. Just want to make sure we’ve got a fresh copy of that before troubleshooting any further.

    Yep. Just did it again this morning to be sure. Same problem. No CSS styling. Here’s the header from the page:

    <!doctype html>
    <html>
      <head>
      <meta charset=“UTF-8” />

      <title>CP Home | ExpressionEngine</title>

      <link rel=“stylesheet” href=“http://mysite.com/themes/jquery_ui/default/jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.css” type=“text/css” media=“screen” />
      <link rel=“stylesheet” href=“index.php?S=0&D=cp&C=css” type=“text/css” media=“screen” title=“Global Styles” charset=“utf-8” />

    The culprit appears to be this line:

    http://mysite.com/themes/jquery_ui/default/jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.css

    No such directory or file exists in the mobile theme.

    Yep, looks like that’s a bonafide bug. Thanks for helping us track that one down, Ron. I’ve filed a bug report on your behalf here.

    In the bug report, I noted exactly where the errant line referencing jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.css is, and so you can fix that one if you like. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how to fix the rest of the mobile styles. I would recommend keeping your eye on the bug report for updates on this.

    Thanks, Kevin. It wasn’t difficult to find. I logged in using a mobile device and there it was.

    It looks as if it’s in a few places within the mobile theme code. Seems to me that not many EE users are into using the mobile theme, otherwise that bug probably would have been picked up sooner.

    You’re right, grrramps. There are a number of issues with the current mobile theme and we’re taking a hard look at it. Stay tuned!
