I’m new to these forums and just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Karl and I’ve dabbled with PHP for about 4 year. I have put much thought into starting to use a framework and have decided to go for CI.
I look forward to diving into coding and helping out on here when I can.

(but im thinking on calling her to see if she can investigate for me a good company to hire me to work with codeigniter on Florianopolis… its my dream to live there…)

Honestly.. as things stand I would say think again and find something else.. it seems that as CI’s popularity has gone up, its quality has gone down.

Its been more than 3 months since 2.0.2 was unexpectedly released with numerous bugs… 3 months with no core members being bothered to either rollback to a more stable version or roll out a 2.0.3 with fixes to the 2.0.2 problems… you never know though, tomorrow is another day and a new release may FINALLY arrive.
