How to use Textile Editor Helper (TEH) extension ? (for EE1)

I follow the instructions, installed Ext., activate it… set the correct paths… then ?

I can’t find any “howto” use it.

    Any help ?

    Hi Yves,

Is it not working or do you not understand how it works?  You should see buttons like in the screenshot appearing above the textareas - do you see them? If not, have you set the textareas to textile? Choose Textile from the “Default Text Formatting for This Field” selector when you create the custom field.

I have no idea how to make it working, I haven’t found any documentation about it. All seems all right in the EE1 and module, but that’s it. There is no ‘Textile’ menu in “Default Text Formatting for This Field” selector. Just need help.

Okay this is a weird little quirk of EE, but you have to set the field to Textarea and save, then when you revisit it you will see a little “Edit List” link. From that you can choose Textile, if you have it installed.

From this part, I’m lost. Sorry.

All has been installed but I can not see any link. Do you have an example ?

When you first create the custom field it looks like the first screenshot shown here. Once you’ve saved and revisited you’ll see the little “edit list” link which takes you to a screen where you can select Textile.
