Upgraded to 3.1.5 and getting an odd error on some Channels where when I attempt to submit an Entry.

Submitting the Entry takes me right back to the Entry itself and when I go to the Forum Tab, I see “Invalid Topic ID” even though I am not attempting to add the topic to the forum. It looks like the number “0” is being placed in there sometimes…

If I edit and remove the 0 before submitting the entry it works. But obviously, it’s not the optimal solution.

Thanks. I figured out that I would just “null” all those values in mysql before I read that thread, but it’s good info for anyone else who comes across it.

Thanks Max. This will likely lead to a bug report. We have access details to the install on the related thread so will continue updates in there

Experiencing the same issue. Just upgraded from EE1 to EE2 and installed Forum. Any entries I try to edit and save produce same error Invalid Topic ID with value 0 in field.

It would also be nice if an entry had an error that I would be directed to the forum tab to see the error.

By default the page just wont save. Nothing displays to let me know there is an error on the forum tab.

Thanks for the additional info, Hendrik-Jan. I noticed that you also added a comment on the bug report, which is good. Since this is an ongoing issue that we’re aware of, I’m going to close this thread up. If you’re experiencing the same issue, I’d encourage you to post a comment about it to the bug report so our devs see it while they’re troubleshooting and fixing it.
