After updating to 2.2.0 and forums 3.1.4 (20110622) all people logged in to our forums are “invisible”.
I know that this is an option for the “normal” login form. But as our users can only login via the mini login form in the forums (where this option isn’t available) I suspect this might be a bug.
Has anybody else a problem like this?

Do you mean they do not appear on the active users list in the forums?
I can’t replicate that one if that is what you mean.

Yep, they are not showing up in the active users list (when viewed from another user’s perspective).
Each user sees only his own name with an “*” attached to it and no other name.

Sorry that you have run into this bug, DrHackenbusch!  I’d recommend following that bug report as that is where the updates will happen.  Did you have any other questions we can help you out with in this thread?

I just upgraded to forums 3.1.4, and my members have been complaining about this issue. But I’d like to clarify. It’s not just that they’re anonymous by default. There’s apparently no way for them NOT to be anonymous. Even if they log-out, and then log back in, selecting the option to be seen, they’re still anonymous. That is, they still don’t appear in the list of active members.

Hi, Alex. That is a part of the bug, but I don’t see that there is a workaround at the present.
