hey there at expressionengine,
i somehow can`t embed other templates within my forum themes (derived from the scaffold theme). it just renders the tags as plain text instead of parsing them.
is there any adjustment to be made?

read about the different rendering engine as far as the forum is concerned.

Hey mtin79,
Glad you got it figured out! You are correct in that you can not take other templates and embed them into the forums. The forums act separately from the rest of the site.
