    Hi,
Although setting up some personal pages in iWeb and Dreamweaver I have no experience at all with SQL-database. Now I am going to set up a closed website for a private auto-club which I am a member in with 50 members.

I bought and downloaded Expression Engine 2.x, Non.Commercial license, but something appears to be
wrong. Here is what I did:
I downloaded the zip-file and unzipped it to a folder. I uploaded the files
with Fetch to the domain where it will be used, sadc.no . SQL is installed
on the server, and beforehand I ran the server wizard to see if the server met the
requirements, and i got a green yes on all the points. I then changed the
setting to 666 and 777 for the mentioned files.
Then i went to my browser and wrote http://www.sadc.no/admin.php (I also tried http://sadc.no/admin.php)
    I then get this error:
    Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL
manually please check your spelling and try again.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster
    <mailto:[email protected]> .
    Error 404
    http://www.sadc.no <http://www.sadc.no>
    Fri Jun 24 03:40:06 2011
    Apache/2.2.16

As far as i can see the file admin.php is placed on the root of sadc.no. It is a textfile, and no installation
wizard opens. I cant see this wizard in any of the other folders either.
So I´m stuck as i cant get started at all with the installation wizard.

Help! What is wrong? Is there anything I am totally missing out on here?
I really appreciate your help! 😊

The problem was caching in my browser.  :red:  So now I can move on.  😊
