I have someone who is trying to sign up for my newsletter, but when they try to submit their email address they get the message:

    Action Denied: Blacklisted Item Found

This is the first time I have heard of this, and as far as I know they are genuine, so I was wondering what can be triggering this?

    cheers
    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

What form is the email address of this person? Is it a free email address or from their own site’s domain?
Are they trying to sign up from a home computer, office or public computer?

If you want PM me the email address so we can review it

Just confirm that your Blacklist/Whitelist Module is installed?

    Hi,
it is just a regular email address in the form of: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) email address. I have also tried signing them up through the web front end from my computer with no joy. The Blacklist/Whitelist module is installed but that domain is not listed.

    kenny2,

If you add that domain to your Whitelist does it work?

Issue is now sorted. Name in email address has a blacklisted string in it. Feel free Kenny to start a new thread if you have any more questions
