I’m having trouble implementing a feature on our website. We JUST purchased expressionengine and are running into a load of issues.

If I want a page to be only be able to be seen by a member who owns product 1 (Product1 Group), I can do that. Just assign him to Product1Group and have the page check to see if he has permissions to view that page.

But if the user owns multiple products (Product1 Group, Product2 Group, and Product3 Group) and must be able to access each product specific page…. is this possible?

The only way I see this possible is to assign multiple groups to a user. But I don’t think EE has this functionality.

I just wanted to verify this. Is this true, is there no other way around?

    txdigital,

As Mike says. One user per group. Feel free to add your voice though as a feature request
