    Hi,

I have a EE2 site that’s been working fine until I upgraded to Safari 5.0.5.
When the site loads, a div with lots of EE code (like “begin template processing” ... “parsing site variables” ...) is added to the bottom of each page. The actual code can only be seen in the source after the /html tag, but unfortunately it adds a lot of blank space to the site. This does not happen in any of the other browsers.

Is there a way to fix this, or is it a Safari bug?

I’m guessing that you are probably logged in to the admin section of the site on Safari and what you are seeing is actually what is called Template Debugging which can be found at :

Admin > System Administration > Output and Debugging > Display Template Debugging?

If you turn that off then that information will go away.

Don’t worry though as no-one else using the site will see that unless of course they are logged in as a Super Admin.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Best wishes,

    Mark
