I’ve searched the forums and also searched for typography extensions and plugins. I’m still within the 30-day trial period for EE and this is close to a deal-breaker for me. I want to use HTML as a default text formatting option but can’t work out how to do this. Because I am so new to EE I am leery of writing a plugin before I have the hang of the system 😉

Is HTML going to be offered in a future release? Are there any existing plugins for this that I’ve missed? Or, failing this - is there a bulletproof example plugin anywhere so I can try to roll my own?
    Thanks.

NB. I’m talking about the backend here. Currently, the only options are XHTML, Auto br and none. “None” works for me but won’t work for others on the site.
