I want to search in a zipcode field. For instance: search on ‘1’
Normally it returns a result like this:
1234
but also: 2314, because it contains 1.
But how to show ONLY results that STARTS with? I already asked Solspace if SuperSearch could do this, but nada unfortunately.

The Search Module that comes with EE is not capable of this. You are welcome to make a feature request on this. Try the Search Results add-on.
If you look at it from the point of view of how the results are display as opposed to limiting what it searches for.

OK thanks, I made a feature request. Don’t know if the Search Results add-on can do this, I will ask them.
