I have a case where I have a Member Group called Judges. The ultimate task of the judges is to score an entry under 1 or more of 6 criteria.
The problem I have is that different judges will be assigned to 1 or more different criteria, depending on their speciality. Rather than having 6 different member groups, I wanted to know if using Member Categories (I’m using Solspace User so am able to apply categories to members), would allow me to determine which criteria they’re able to enter/edit when viewing an entry?
The other part of the problem, is that I wish to restrict the viewing of comments to the users criteria as well. So if say there are two people judging a criteria, and both make a comment, then they can only see each others comments and not comments from those judging other criteria.
Anyone able to offer some guidance?
