Is there a package that does not include your company name on the back end at all?

    Hi, imagedisplaygroup..

We do not allow ExpressionEngine to be private labeled. The copyright and link must remain visible and active in the bottom of the Control Panel. In six years of business a client of a web professional has never complained of being confused by the copyright or the link. It’s quite the opposite in fact.

There is a lot of value in letting your clients know that your web publishing solution comes from a company that has been in business six years, is stable, has the best security record in its class, and has an active community and development team. These plusses instill confidence in people.

You are welcome to create a Control Panel theme that matches your company’s branding and you can even add your logo in the Control Panel so long as our copyright and link remain in the footer and you do not pass off ExpressionEngine as your own creation.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Hey Sue, just to clarify: as long as we leave the EE copyright in the footer and not pass off EE as our own creation we can make whatever other changes we like? For example, I’ve been asked to replace the EE emblem on the log-in page with something else and maybe remove the “Powered by ExpressionEngine” tag at the top?

Hi, mrtopher. As long as you keep the info in the footer, you’ll be fine.

If anything else comes up, please do let us know in a new thread..
