Not sure where to post this—maybe here or 3rd Party issues?
Trying to install Custom System Messages 2.2 on my EE v 1.6.9. I think perhaps this is not doable. I can’t find any install instructions or information.
I would like to have the version of Custom System Message that allows me to create specific language for specific Action ID’s. Like a search ID. My old install of CSM - 1.2 - didn’t seem to allow this. I coudl designate 2 templates for the system messages, but it didn’t take the {action} tags or show the ACT ID, etc. I believe that CMS v 2.2 will allow me to do this. (I may be wrong!). But maybe 2.2 is incompatible with EE 1.x
Any suggestions would be great! I am still trying to get this tri-lingual site to show error messages in the language dictated by a global variable {country_code}. For some reason, the solution still eludes me!
