We have a client who has a named blog that is setup in a template group. Well I guess the name they chose is trademarked so they can’t use and want to hide or “remove” the blog temporarily until they come up with a different name and can update links and graphics. What is the best method for me to hide a template group, so if the public tries to access it it goes to a 404 or the site index page or something? Thanks!

Have you tried using the access rights page?

I did, but it didn’t have any effect? I signed out of the admin as well and tried to access the page after setting everyone to no access, but it still came up…

    Hi, TGP.

Make sure you really are logged out of the site. I’d clear all my site cookies and try again.. Does that work?

It did work, I think a combination of my internet running freakishly slow and caching kept the site from seeing it working. Testing on another browser showed it worked, thanks!

Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
