Running 2.1.3 on a local MAMP install and getting a strange issue. All is installed fine, and the login to the DB is fine.

We can create template and templates groups, but can’t add anything to the content of templates. Submitting sends the info, but nothing is saved, although the revision time is saved.

We checked the permissions for the user, and even used root/root which should have full permissions. We checked index.php/config.php/database.php and they are all set to the correct paths etc.

Anyone come across this at all? Any pointers in the right direction?

Change your PHP setting to 5.2.17 ... that did it for me.

Which version of MAMP are we referring to here? There was a bug in recent versions that will cause this, but I’m not sure about the most recent version, 1.9.6.1.

    I’m on 1.9.6 (downloaded yesterday) ...

To fix it (for me), under MAMP > Preferences > PHP ... change it to PHP 5.2.17 from the defaul PHP 5.3.5 ... et voila, good as gold!

    Hi emagine media,

Please do try markphillip’s suggestion and let us know how you get on. I’ll be upgrading my version of MAMP to see what might be causing this issue.

    Cheers

    Greg
