    Hi,

I have been using EE 2 for a while now, and going backwards is a little challenging, but, I don’t have the budget to upgrade to EE 2 right now.

So, in EE2 I can specify, when adding custom fields, I am able to add a Fieldtype of File. Is this not possible in EE1?

I find this to be a super handy thing…

    Evoir,

In EE1.x there is an upload file feature but you then specify which custom field you want that upload to appear on when you are in the Publish page so workflow a little different.

If you want something similar to to the File fieldtype then have a look at nGen File Field
