Hi all, first post here so apologies in advance if this is in the wrong forum. Also, I’m pretty sure this may be a common question and hopefully it’s not one that people find tedious.
I am looking to do some freelance work over the next while to tide me over until I start my new job. I’ve come across expression engine and it’s getting rave reviews, so obviously I’m interested.
However, I was hoping I’d be able to try before I buy so I can get the feel of it, but I don’t seem to be able to find any free version.
Basically my reasons for looking this are:
- to see if I like it
- so I can “learn” it before I start client work (obviously I don’t want to be telling my client that I’m spending the first few weeks of the time they are paying me for learning a new content system)
- also just to really see what all the fuss is about 😊
Understandably this option may not be available due to the potential for abuse of the trial?
So, is there anywhere I can go to fulfil my hopes as above? 😊
